Where some companies in our sector talk about personal service, we provide it. Founded in 1979 by Nigel Harris, Niweld is still family run, with SR Harris the current acting MD.

We have supplied the building industry for structural steel for over 30 years: so whether you need supporting structural beams for a knock-through, cranked beams to suit roof pitch or even customised steel-framed buildings, we can deliver them. We can provide mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium and galvanised fabrications to your specifications. These include hoppers, conveyors, fire escapes and walkways, mezzanine floors, tanks and prototypes.

Security projects are another speciality of ours. We manufacture and install commercial, industrial and domestic requirements, including door protection and window grilles, security fencing, barrier fabrication and razor barb tape and wire.

Operating from our own premises in Tamworth, Staffordshire, our 4000 sq ft factory and 8000 sq ft yard allow us to closely monitor construction. At our fabrication shop we can offer MIG, TIG and MMA welding, press brake, guillotine, shearing, plasma cutting, bending, milling, rolling, drilling, punching, notching and turning – again, all under our personal supervision and quality control. We can also call on a network of trusted subcontractors for any fabrication needs you may have.
